Hello, world!

So it’s been… yits ben… about two years. Here’s the meat of what’s new with the site and some goals.

site stuff

1. New theme! This is the biggest and most obvious thing. Don’t worry as a lottttt of stuff hasn’t moved (check the menu). It’s aesthetically the same, for the most part, but the engine underneath is now Hugo! which means…
2. Focus on blogging! Hugo is going to make it easier for me to update my site in the form of a blog. I hate the feeling of leaving my site abandoned like I do periodically, and I love writing, so I hope that this will get me more active. Speaking of activvve…
3. Goals… there are still a few pages that I just havent given any special attention to. As follows, these are the pages I wanna work on:
   • Music media. I would love to use discog’s API to spit out all my current records onto this page.
   • Ricky memorial. I still miss my puppy. I want to host a page with cute pictures of my boy.
   • Gizzy page. My pet lizard. She deserves a spot!
   • Mazes. A hobby of mine is drawing mazes – I wanna share that on my site!

life stuff

1. I got a new job! It’s with a large company in a narrow department. It’s cool. And it’s a contract with a high conversion rate to go full time. Yay!
2. I moved! I’m in a new state! It’s lovely. I’m still in the southern US, and I don’t think I could ever really leave it. Sometimes I wonder about going to Canada or something but I could never abandon the food here. My fatass.
3. New fixations. I don’t know, is this really important? I’ve gotten really into Nirvanna the Band. And sticker collecting and journaling.

Okay. I think I’m good. Bye.

Supa easy dinnar. INGREDIENTS Potato(s) Salt Oil Butter Bacon bits Sour cream OPTIONAL: whatever else you want to dress your tater in

1. Preheat airfryer to 350F for 10 minutes. During this time, you can prep your potatoes. Stab them with a fork so they get a bunch of holes, and then coat them with a layer of oil.

2. After potatoes are prepped, throw them in the airfryer for 30 min. After that, flip them, then run another 30 minutes.

the recipe calls for measuring in grams which is better, but if you don’t have a way to measure grams right now i’ll write the typical cups / tablespoons / etc etc. Baking terms. You know. This will be baked in a loaf pan, but diane’s recipe gives option for baking in a pot as well! NOTE: makes TWO loaves Ingredients

660g / 5.25 cups of flour
350g / 1.5 cups of water
27g / 3~ tbsp yeast, fresh yeast, or 1 packet
15g / 1 tbsp salt
33g / 2.25 tbsp oil
OPTIONAL: egg (for egg wash)
OPTIONAL: cornmeal to line the baking pan

1. Mix all ingredients in the bowl. If you have a mixer, beat it with the dough hook for 6~ minutes. Then, take it out and knead for another 6~ minutes by hand. If you don’t have a mixer then simply knead by hand. :)

This recipe is based on the omelette made by Sydney in the show The Bear! :) Make it with whatever you want inside its an omelette dude. In the show, she uses boursin cheese, chopped chives, and sour cream and onion chips to garnish. I make it like this and its VERY good.

3 large eggs
Butter
Salt
Pepper (to taste)

1. PREHEAT YOUR PAN! Medium high heat.

2. Beat your three eggs until they’re combined. OPTIONALLY, you can strain your eggs. This removes all the solids from the eggs and makes the omelette smoother, if you’re hungry now just skip it. I’ve also seen people say to leave out your egg slurry out until it’s orange instead of yellow but idk.

Hey gay! First off I want to prove that I’m not just sitting on my ass and am actually working on this site. Sooooo here’s stuff :~)

Dream Corp LLC

OMGEEZY a new shrine in progress! Dream Corp LLC is one of my favorite shows ever, and I’ve been meaning to do a kind of playful early web interface based on the aesthetics of the series. It’s about a sleep lab that enters your dreams to solve your issues, like your soft dick or daddy issues or rashes. Apparently the showrunners beat me to the idea but whatevs. I looked at a few web archives and found a lot of these halftone pixel gradients and I was able to replicate it with Aseprite :)
